TIGER SAYS SORRY

February 19th 2010 20:24
Tiger at his press conference

Tiger Woods has given a heartfelt apology to his wife, his mother, his fans, his colleges, friends and business partners saying he was selfish when he had affairs and only thought of himself. He also stressed he wants the media to leave his wife and kids alone as this has nothing to do with them.

He also said that the Thanksgiving incident when he crashed his car was not caused by his wife Elin hitting him, and there has never been abuse in their marriage. Tiger said he knows his words are not enough for his wife that his behavior over time will be proof that he has changed.
I don't usually report on sporting figures cos they're not Hollywood but I must say Tiger Woods has some serious balls to step up like this. But is he telling the truth or placating us? Time will tell, lets hope Tiger can get on with his life and back to playing some great golf.
He says he doesn't know when he will play again but is not ruling out 2010. Tiger is going back to therapy on the weekend, so best wishes Tiger, here's hoping you can rediscover the man we all once admired.
