THE RISE AND FALL OF MISCHA BARTON

Mischa Barton on the set of SVU

Mischa Barton who only a few years ago was a rising star on the TV show The OC, is now a hooker on the set of Law&Order SVU. But thats not all, Barton it seems is crashing after a recent stint in the psych ward, her life is again falling apart. On the set of SVU this week in a scene with it's star Mariska Hargitay, Mischa had only seven lines and could not recall them even with prompting from Mariska. It took her ten hours to complete a scene that should have taken no more than thirty minutes. Mischa also has not paid the rent due on her NYC apartment, actually she refuses to pay the $7000 owed and now her landlord is suing her.

Whatever happened to the lovely innocent Mischa? She is only 23 and reports say all she does is party the nights away. Hopefully someone will get her on track before we see another Brittany Murphy like casualty.
