UPDATE: Police have ruled that Shia LeBouf was not at fault for the weekend car accident where he received serious hand injuries. Police say the other driver ran a red light and will be charged. Shia is recovering in Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre his mum Shayna says "He is doing fine."

Shia LeBeouf's car accident Sunday morning was more serious than first thought. Shia's SUV flipped onto it's roof with Shia receiving serious injuries to his left hand that required extensive surgery. In the vehicle with Shia was aussie actress Isabel Lucas who once starred in Home and Away. She is costarring with LeBouf in Transformers, but he will be absent from the set for at least a month. On top of that LeBouf has been charged with DUI and in an interview with Details magazine Shia has admitted he cannot stop at one drink. This could be a serious problem for 22 year old Shia who has an amazing career ahead of him, but we all know the damage alcoholism can do.
