SCREEN LEGEND JEAN SIMMONS DIES

Jean Simmons

Legendary actress of the silver screen Jean Simmons has died of lung cancer aged 80.
In the 1940's and 50's Jean was considered one of Hollywood's great beauties although she ws born in England. She shot to fame after starring alongside Laurence Olivier in Hamlet and playing Estella in Great Expectations. She was also married to heart throb Stewart Granger, I might say a great catch, he was a stunner.

She won an Emmy for her performance in The Thorn Birds and was leading lady to Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra in Guys and Dolls. Miss Simmons death is yet another reminder that all the great actors and actresses are now leaving us, unfortunately we will not see the likes of Jean again.
