Mo'nique

Actress Mo'nique is receiving high praise for her performance as an abusive mother in the movie Precious and may find herself up for an Academy award nomination for the role.
Mo'nique told People mag "Coming from being molested as a child, when [director Lee Daniels] said, 'I need you to be this monster,' well [I] knew who that monster was," she says. Mo'nique was molested by her older brother and said he inspired the monster she plays in Precious.

On top of all that Mo'nique has a new late nigh talk show "When that curtain opens, I'm a kid that has no limit on all the candy she can have."
Mo'nique is living her dream and I think shes an inspiration to all of us. You go sister!
