Madonna and Antonio in Evita
In 1991 Madonna made a documentary that followed her Blond Ambition World Tour called Truth or Dare. If you haven't seen it, you must cos the show is amazing.
Anyway Madonna's then gal pal who she now hates, Sandra Bernhard, asks Madonna who would really blow her away if she met them. Madonna thinks for a moment then says "That guy who's in all of Pedro Almodóvar's films - Antonio Banderas."
Madonna flirts with him in the most horrible way its clear she wants to sleep with Antonia but he keeps saying no and putting his arm around his attractive Spanish wife. Madonna leaves pissed off, but little does she know she will star in Evita with Antonio five years later.
After Truth or Dare Antonio got his break in English speaking films and went to America with his wife.
In 1995 Antonio made the movie Too Much with Melanie Griffith, they fell in love and he dumped his wife like a hot potato. The next year while filming Evita with Madonna, Melanie was the wife next to Antonio yet again Madonna could not have him.
I wonder how Madonna feels knowing Melanie got Antonio without trying and she couldn't get him in hot pants?
I also wonder if Madonna gave Antonio's career a boost by chasing him in her documentary?
