LUKE WILSON TAKES A PAYCUT

For the first time in his career Luke Wilson will be a regular member of a television series. Luke has joined a new HBO comedy pilot called 'Enlightened'. He will play Laura Dern's ex-hubby who is also a drug addict. This is gritty stuff for Luke who other than a couple of appearances on That 70's Show playing Kelso's brother has exclusivly stuck to movies, most of them written in collaboration with his brothers Owen and Andrew.

Also in the comedy is Diane Ladd, between her and Laura Dern you have some serious acting chops, can Luke take the heat?
In recent years Luke's movies have flopped at the box office, so maybe this is the only job he can get. I seriously doubt it though, Luke is so gorgeous he could recite the alphabet and I'd pay to see it.
