IKKI TWIN FIRST INTERVIEW

Erica "Rikki" Mongeon has given a interview to Radaronline.com and talked about the car accident and brain injury that nearly took her life.
"I was in a car accident and pretty much the same thing that Natasha Richardson died of, happened to me. I had to get both of the sides of my skull removed so my brain could expand and swell and make room for it so I didn't die."

"I didn't think a week ago that I'd ever walk again," Rikki said. "I still rely a lot on my right side. The left side is still not so strong.
"Everything is healing pretty well," Rikki said of her recovery. "Right now we're working on trying to make new connections, for my brain to send new pathways to my hand."
In the video at Radaronline Rikki has a huge helmet on her head to protect it while it heals.
