GROUNDHOG DAY FOR KATE WINSLET

Kate Winslet has again received a prestigious award for her performance in The Reader.
Kate won the Oscar for Best Actress for this role earlier in the year and now has been honored with a German Bambi award.

Kate said in her acceptance speech "Ever since we made The Reader I'm always trying to find ways to come back to Germany. It was special,whom the jury honored as "an actress who doesn't just slip into her roles, but rather puts herself into the soul of her roles".
I must say this is some weird ass design for an award, take a look at the picture below. It is basically a gold deer, that resembles the Disney favorite Bambi, who's mother was shot and therefore left Bambi orphaned.
The award also weighs over three kilograms which is just impractical with regard to taking it through customs and finding a place for it in your house. I'm sure Kate's daughter can incorporate it into a game of Barbie.
