GOD LOVES HOMER SIMPSON

The Vatican has published an article in their official newspaper L'Osservatore Romano stating without The Simpsons we would not know how to laugh, and praisng writers for depicting Homer's struggle with his faith.
It reads "Homer finds in God his last refuge, even though he sometimes gets His name sensationally wrong. But these are just minor mistakes, after all, the two know each other well."
Not to mention he swears, hes lazy, ignores his kids, and although loves his wife, treats her like a maid? Oh wait a minute, thats okay with the Catholics, women are second rate citizens to them and are only meant to clean house and have babies, no wonder they like the show.
Over the past 20 years I have watched maybe two episodes of The Simpsons, I find the show offensive, vulgur and overtly sexual. The Simpsons are banned in my house, dysfunction is not entertainment.
