GABOUREY CHOOSES MUM OVER OPRAH

Oprah and Gabourey Sidibie

When Gabourey Sidibe heard she'd been nominated for an Oscar on Sunday she said shed love Justin Timberlake to be her date on the red carpet. But she got a better offer....Oprah.
Gabourey tells People.com, "Oprah called me and was like, 'Hey girl, do you want to ride together?' I was like, 'I got it Oprah, calm down. I don't want to show up with you. People will think we're too cool.'

"She's the only person that I'm continually starstruck by. When I meet people I get used to them very quickly because everyone seems like a friend because I watch them on TV. But Oprah is the only one I can't get used to."
Is this girl nuts? This may be the only Oscars she will ever attend and be nominated for and she rejects Lady O?
The truth is there will not be a lot of roles for an obese actress in Hollywood. How many leading ladies in Hollywood are even an ounce overweight?
Sad but true.
