ELTON THE DRUG COUNSELLOR

Elton John and Eminem

Eminem has called in Elton John to help him overcome a drug addiction after an overdose in 2005. Eminem said in an interview "When I first wanted to get sober, I called him, because he's somebody in the business who can relate to the lifestyle and how hectic things can be. He understands the pressure and any other reasons that you wanna come up with for doing drugs."

Elton was happy to help the rapper out and told Britian's Radio Five Live "I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly. I'm there if people want help. If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there's no point advising if they don't want it."
When Elton says "people" is he talking "famous people" or "ordinary people" like the rest of us. I mean if each of us asked him for a few bucks would he oblige or does it need to be dire?
