ELLEN AND TIM PETA'S BEST

Ellen DeGeneres and Tim Gunn

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have named Ellen DeGeneres and Timm Gunn their 2009 People of The Year. Both Tim and Ellen have been very vocal in anti-fur and veganism as well as the poor treatment of animals like factory farming.

PETA co-founder and president Ingrid Newkirk said "Their message that animals must be treated kindly and respectfully has reached scores of people, and many of them have changed their buying habits, all because Gunn and DeGeneres spoke up for the voiceless."
I am a vegetarian as I do not condone the slaughter of innocent animals to be served up with mashed potatoes. I believe animals are equal to humans on a soul level and should be protected not held in captivity to be murdered. It's time the people of the world treated animals with the same respect they treat any other innocent being. Become a vegetarian you will save a life.
