DIXIE CARTER DIES

The fabulous Dixie Carter star of TV show Designing Women amongst many others has passed away age 70.
Her husband of 26 years actor Hal Holbrook released a statement "This has been a terrible blow to our family. We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

Carter starred in numerous TV shows she played the acid tongued Julia Sugarbaker in the hit show Designing Women which ran for seven years in the late eighties and early nineties.
She truly was an amazing actress, and a wonderful person, she is dearly loved in the Hollywood community and as a fan myself this is a shock.
How and where she died has not been announced but God knows she will be truly missed. God Bless you Dixie, your wit and humour has inspired me and I thank you.
