DAY LEWIS IS PISSED

Daniel Day-Lewis

Daniel Day-Lewis has expressed bitterness and anger at some of Hollywood's big wigs who rejected him at the begininning of his career.
He tells the Belfast Telegraph newspaper, "Most dancers, actors and singers get treated like filth at auditions.

"You never forget that do you? I mean every now and then I bump into some of the directors that treated me that way when I was a kid and they're all over me like a rash and you can't forget it because you're so vulnerable."
Its a certain type of egotist who carries around this sort of bitterness with regards to rejection. Rejection makes us strong, it gives us gusto, it makes us invincible.
Its also interesting that Daniel has brougth this up because he has a reputation for being extremely difficult to work with and not the nicest person on movie sets. Get your ego in check Dan, you sound like a total whack job with this statement.
