Brooke Shields and Michael Jackson
Brooke Shields has spoken for the first time about her speech at Michael Jackson's memorial. Brooke told Access Hollywood "Did you see me shaking? Well, they didn’t tell us that the coffin was going to be there,” she said. “I thought because there was a fantasy moment in my head that he was going to jump out and start the concert.”
Brooke attended the Grammy Awards with Michael and Emmanuel Lewis (see pic below) in 1984 and I was watching a documentary on MJ the other day and a close companion of his said that Michael was much more interested in Emmanuel that night than he was Brooke. Even at one point having 13 year old Emmanuel sit on his knee. Apparently she was desperate to get Michael's attention but he was not interested in Brooke like that, if you know what I mean?
