ALBA AND HUDSON ABUSE SHOCKS

Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson's new film "The Killer Inside Me" has debuted at the Sundance Film Festival to the horror of audiences. In a scene from the film Casey Affleck's character bashes Jessica's character for a full three minutes and later Kate's character also takes a beating. When the lights came up and the director Michael Winterbottom fielded questions the response from one women was hostile. "Disgusting!" she yelled and then stormed out. After that nothing but silence. Winterbottom asked for another question with no takers.

In the wake of the Chris Brown, Rihanna affair it really is not necessary for a director to be so graphic especially since violence against women is so prevalent in our society right now. As an actress and writer of screenplays I believe the audience do not need the details they are intelligent enough to know what happens next. Needless to say this movie The Killer Inside Me may flop.
