ACTRESSES IN BIKINIS

After a seven year batle with bulimia, Katherine McPhee feels positive enough about her body to show it off in a bikini on the cover of shape magazine. I totally get that part but as an actress myself I do not understand why actresses pose in bikinis. Is it necessary for the world to see your body? An actress is a story teller, not a Sports Illustrated model and therefore do not need to pose in a bikini. I also notice the actresses who do pose are usually hard up for a job of late and need the cash, similar to reality stars and washed up older actresses who just left Jenny Craig. I think this promotes eating disorders and emotional problems in young men and women who think they need to look like this to be sexy or beautiful when in truth its your persona that does that.
